The IBSA Football Sport Committee has officially opened the bidding process for the 2024 and 2025 IBSA Blind Football and Partially Sighted Football Championships. IBSA member organizations in good standing are invited to apply by accessing the application form via the provided link. The championships available for bidding include:
1. 2024 IBSA Men’s Blind Football World Grand Prix – This tournament must commence before May 28, 2024, and applications are due by October 31, 2023.
2. 2024 IBSA Women’s Blind Football World Grand Prix.
3. 2024 IBSA Partially Sighted Football Continental Championship.
4. 2025 IBSA Men’s Blind Football Continental Championship Division 2 – This will take place across four regions: Africa, America, Asia/Oceania, and Europe.
5. 2025 IBSA Partially Sighted Football World Championship.
6. 2025 IBSA Women’s Blind Football World Championship.
Elias Mastoras, the IBSA Football Chairperson, stated, “After a very productive first-ever forum, we are moving forward to a new era. KPIs helped us identify the gaps in the post-pandemic period, and we introduced a full plan in time.
